Travel Information

HEALTH: No vaccinations required but visitors are recommended to have injections against cholera and hepatitis, as well as taking anti-malaria pills if traveling to remote areas. Most common drugstore medicines and insect repellent are generally available and there are good medical facilities in all major cities and resorts.

VISA: Nationals of 56 countries (including the USA, Japan and members of the European Union) can stay in Thailand for up to 30 days without an entry visa. Most other visitors can obtain a visa valid for 15 days on arrival at any of the four air gateways, Bangkok, Chaing Mai, Phuket and Hat Yai.
